Dress Code Update Regarding Footwear!

We just received an e-mail from a Club 33 member that stated some of his guests were not allowed into the club due to sandles. Not low dollar flip-flops, but more expensive style sandals. The guest had to exit the club, obtain appropriate foot wear and then re-join the party within. So, if you're going to the club, be sure to check your foot wear!

We attended Club 33 last night (August 16, 2008). A great experience. I warned my wife and daughter to not wear sandals per the warning on footwear on this page. They didn't like it but did so.

While there were only three other tables occupied, all the ladies had sandals on (the flat kind and the kind with a small heel.) To me, they were fashionable and matched their outfits.

No one was sent packing and the Club 33 staff did not seem to mind. So either the original story about someone having to search the park for shoes because of wearing sandals has more to it than that, or the staff at the club has different interpretations of what is appropriate footwear depending on who is on duty.

I'm about to attend Club 33 on Monday, the 6th of April, and I wasn't sure if the Dress Code had to include things other than "no cheap sandals". There were other concerns like, must the women wear nice skirts or dresses? I've never been, and I don't know the Dress Code whatsoever.
