We were recently advised the approx. waiting period for a Club 33 membership is 16 years. While the club has not yet re-opened for new applications, they estimate opening the list in 2009 or 2010. Any employees with updates would be most welcome! Your help is greatly appreciated!

Any idea if this is for new names on the list? We have been on the list for about 4 years and received "the letter" last May. I had read that those who got the letter last year may have been higher up on the list. have you heard anything new in regards to that?

Oh yes, I believe the longer estimate is based for those who are newest on the list and those with applications in hand, waiting to be placed upon teh list. If you have been on for four years, you should be very well secured amongst the four to five year wait, that's just a guess of course. I normally call the club once a year to check on our status.
It's difficult to know the waiting time as so many people do not relinquish their memberships. When I have called they will not tell us our exact position on the list, just render an approx. time.

I also received a letter dated last April 11th, and am still waiting for a membership offer. I signed up in May of 2003, so it has now been five years...
My membership took 19 years!
