I can honestly say, the chocolate birthday dessert is the BEST! Nothing else on the dessert buffet even compares.
The new york strip steak wasn't a hit for me. It was really tough and fatty. The veggies that came with it were cooked to perfection though.

That's wonderful news, I'll have to try the birthday dessert. I don't believe we've ever had it!
I would agree about the steak, it's not my favorite. The Blue Bayou has a wonderful prime rib which I feel is a better dish and larger cut of beef.

but the chateaubriand really is good.
I think I like the tiger prawn...the sauce is amazing!
